The Hufi blacksmith and blacksmith school was established three

decades ago by Uri Hufi -
Master blacksmith and member of Kibbutz Ein Shemer. Hufi passed away in March 2023 and left us with a rich blacksmithing legacy to pass on.
In recent years the blacksmith shop has been managed by his student Beaz Yachin.
The school teaches in a unique method developed by Uri Hofi, which is known and studied all over the world. This method aims to maintain the body with the help of a correct work posture, and the processing of the material with minimal physical effort. This is what makes our courses suitable for all levels and a variety of ages - from boys and girls to pensioners. The school of blacksmithing continues to develop, renewing itself with a wide variety of workshops and courses. Starting from daily workshops focused on a product or practice, to courses of 5 consecutive working days. Next to the school there is an active workshop, which deals with conservation, restoration and creation works in iron.
